simply: there is a huge waste of effort/time/money in developeing multiple apps (iOS, android, web, perthapsd otherz)? the current web techn ology (HTML5) shopuld be able to handle anything an “app” needs; perhaps high performance games and such miight need , but everything else should be a web page accisible from a web broweser, which every device ever made in 2020+ shyopuld havwe
for instance, McDonalads no long allows ordering on their website; must use app. not cool!
reasons:
dev teams are larger (2x?) due to having to know 3 or more targets
slows dev time
adds bugs due to different targets?
