this is something i wanted to write to tell jeremy istead one of the most criticsally important ways to intyereact with an alaexa. might also apply to other assistants.
do not bother with anyhing but the shoppiong list. simpley add everything to it. othjer than setting alarms, reminder tha toyu want a notification for,
the list managemimnt in web is poor, just awful. on a tablt or phopne, not muich bettewr. compared to “list taking” software, it sucks.
so don’t bother crerating all the lists you ight want. just add everytrhing to the shopping list.
it’s the default list if you don’t tell it what list. so adding anything to the shpl requires but ” add moose pickels”. no need to spec a list. which elimintes the frequent misinterpretation and the dreaxed “i can’t find…. do you want me to create it?” bs.
this is also useful since the echo shows (or the es5 I have) will tell my on display that i’ve got xx items on my grocery lshopping lsit which reminds me to check it.
if needed, make others lists as required. they’re easy to read back with a ” read . keep listname short aand simple
mange the lists on mobile or tablet, or on the web pager version but it dsucks. dii d i mention it sucks?
