do you ever wonder if we’re in the same timeline as Sept. 1939 as Germany invaded Poland?
is the current .. situation .. zietgeist.. feeling.. now similar to what Canadians felt as WW2 got going?
Putun = Hitler, Ukraine=Polant, Russia=Germany
big difference: we now can watch the events unfold in near real time.
would/do we know how to feel about this? it’s ramped up so fast (but obviously should not have bneen a surpise) and just seems so not possible. like, we’re probably closer to the use of nukes that we’ve been in a very long time.
